Flowers For Algernon-Full Book

This book is awesome and very, very original. from the start with progress reports by the mentally disabled adult Charlie Gordon, who after an experimental surgery become a genius, far outpacing the doctors who did the experiment. the only other living creature who has survive the procedure is a white lab mouse named Algernon. when Algernon's mental condition suddenly deteriorates, the question is whether the same will happen to Charlie. the book has a whole host of interesting characters, and is incredibly well-written with a really unique view from Charlie's progress reports. I would recommend this book to everyone who is comfortable with a small amount of adult content.

Flowers For Algernon-Page 271

This book has a really interesting concept and it pulls it off really well. This book presents the story of Charlie Gordon from a I.Q. of 70 to 185 in a series of journals or progress reports. These reports show how Charlie is becoming more and more advanced as his writing become more accurate and thoughtful. Charlie's journey has a lot of interesting moments as he realizes that the people he thought were his friends maybe are not, and as he realizes that the people whom he thought were gods are maybe only just men. He is also connected with a lab mouse names Algernon, who was one of the first mouse to receive the same procedure that Charlie had. Overall this book has many funny and dramatic moments. i would recommend this book to anyone, just as long as they are okay with a little bit of adult themes.

All Things Wise and Wonderful-Book Talk

All Things Wise and Wonderful
James Harriet
Non-Fiction

This book is part of a series that tells of British veterinarian James Harriet as he becomes adjusted to life in Yorkshire and to all the events that go on around him. this book in particular follows James as he goes of to join the RAF. this book and series is amazingly well written, with relatable characters, and some great descriptions. this book series is mostly unconnected, but i would recommend starting with All Creatures Great and Small, and moving onward, as there are some references to previous book inside of these. there are some sad moments inside all of the books, but also amazingly heart-warming ones too.

13 Reasons Why-Book Reveiw

13 Reasons Why
Book Talk
Jay Asher

13 reasons why is about a girl, Hannah Baker who killed herself and sent out a set of 13 tapes to the people that were her reasons for killing herself. Clay Jensen  receives the set of tapes, and originally doesn't want to do anything with them. eventually over the course of one night, he listens to the tapes and starts to understand who Hannah was, and what he did to play a part in her demise. this book is very emotionalty powerful, and it does deal with a few very sensitive topics. I would recommend this book to anyone just as long as they are ready for a mature, and thought-provoking read.
